What’s the process for submitting my song(s)
Our process is that you can start by reviewing the production packages on the SERVICES page. Once you’ve selected the production package that best fits your needs then you can upload your song(s) using the song submission form on the ORDER page of the website. Please use 1 song per form submission. This is where we can get all the info we need about your song. In the “Notes” section of the submission form you can include additional notes we should know about your song and YouTube links of songs you’d like us to possibly reference during production (if needed). At the bottom of the form is where you can upload your digital lyric sheet (in .doc .docx .rtf and pdf formats only) and mp3 audio example of your song (please make sure your audio file is MP3 only. If audio file is currently in another format other than MP3 there are several free “audio conversion” websites you can use to convert your audio file into an MP3. https://online-audio-converter.com/ is a solid one.

How/when will I pay for my order?
Since majority of our orders come in remotely, payment is required upfront upon approval of your project. Once you submit your song on the ORDER page and we’re able to review it to ensure we’re the best fit for your project, we will follow up with an email reply and either
-
- A) Ask follow-up questions for our clarity or
- B) Include an official invoice with a payment link where you can pay for your production.
We use GoDaddy as the transaction invoicing system where you can use most debit and credit cards for payment securely online. NFM cannot receive or view personal debit or CC information using this system. We can offer alternative payment options upon request.
-
How long will it take for my production order to be completed?
Once payment is received then your project is added to the production queue line. Since we are one studio facility with one producer, we take on projects in the order that payments are received. Wait time in the production queue can vary depending on how many songs are in front of your order. On average there is a 4-5 week turn around time from the moment your song enters the production queue to the moment you receive an initial mix/master. The length of time it takes to start and finish your production is roughly 1-3 business days and can sometimes depend on musician or singer availability needed for your song. We contract various musicians and singers that often have touring schedules so “turn-around-times” can vary depending on their schedules. We appreciate your patience and understanding when it comes to turn-around times as schedules are not always in our control, but we guarantee you’ll have a quality production when it’s done. Excellent work takes time.

Does Nashville Music Factory use AI in any way in it’s productions?
On 99.9% of our productions we do not use 3rd party AI applications that create songs, instruments or vocals. We use real instruments and real human beings in the recordings. Having said that – we also view AI as a useful tool for some production applications but it is on a case0-by-case basis and very rarely utilized. If you prefer that we NOT use AI whatsoever simply let us know in your order form and we will avoid it’s usage completely.
-
What if I have different production needs than what is listed?
We can accommodate and customize several production needs, even ones that may not be listed on our SERVICES page. Like we mentioned on the top of this page, all music is about preference. WE CAN PUT TOGETHER A CUSTOM ORDER FOR YOU. Simply reach out to us from the CONTACT page and let us know what you’re looking to do and we will send you a quote based on your specific needs.
-
How do the “revisions” work with your services?
Once your recording is completed and we send you the finished song, if you feel like something needs to change we allow up to 4 free revisions to be made on your music. This can be anything from a mix tweak to re-recording an instrument in a section (excluding real drums). After the initial 4 revisions, a charge of $15 per extra revision will be incurred (this is for demo productions only, not Single/Ep/Album projects). The point of offering free revisions is so that you are completely satisfied with our work. The point of charging for revisions is so that we can both settle on a finished service.
-
Do I get to pick the instruments I want for my music production?
Absolutely. You certainly can give suggestions and your preferences as to how you want your production to sound when you place your order. In fact, that takes a ton of guess-work out of the equation for us, which is better in the long run. We also hope you’ll trust us as professionals to do a great job and pick instruments that would best fit your song.
